Jag Project Car? Aren't they project cars as soon as you pull off the dealership lot?

You gonna buy this for real? It's hard to tell, but it looks mostly rust-free. If you can get it for 1500 bucks, why not? Pull the tank and install a racing fuel cell in the trunk space.
If you're gonna do this, maybe I'll have to invent a reason to head west and turn wrenches with you. "Hey, let's take the kids for vacation in Toronto. And we'll just stop by this guy's place to do some mechanical work... Honey? Where are you going? Why are you taking the kids with you?"
Yes, the plan is falling into place quite nicely.

Good thing that it isn't close to me or else it might be in my driveway.

I rode in a 2009 XF when it was only about 2 years old. It already had electrical gremlins.
The air vents opened with an electric motor out of the dash and they sometimes had a mind of their own.
You touched one part of the touchscreen and it would click something on the other side of the screen.
And it never remembered the default/favorite radio stations.
Makes me wonder what kind of electrical engineers jaguar employs over the years.
